SUPPORT WORKER – SUPPORTED LIVING

 

Part Time: 15.25 hrs per week 

£8.50 Per hour, PLUS additional Sleep In rate

Shift Pattern: Various (includes every other Sunday) 

A fullfilling and enjoyable opportunity has arisen to support a young man with Cerebral Palsy, he is a wheelchair user who communicates verbally and via a communication aid.

You will be required to cover time our young person spends in his home environment and out in the community, going shopping, cinema, theatre trips and other days out. Person centred support is essential.

To apply for this position, you need to be:

  • Dedicated
  • Caring
  • Able to use your own initiative and resourceful
  • Have full/clean driving licence
  • Preferably be over 25 years old due to vehicle insurance reasons
  • Previous experience would be beneficial (but not essential)
  • Able to work on a rota system, this will include weekend working, holiday periods(including some bank holidays and public holidays), sleep in duties and to cover staff absences at short notice.
