Changing the lives of adults with learning disabilities forever

Our Stance With COVID – 19 (Coronavirus)

We are being asked many questions by many people on a daily basis regarding our stance with COVID-19 also known as Coronavirus.

At this stage we are asking all parents, carers, individuals and staff members to follow the government and NHS guidelines…

  • wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
  • always wash your hands when you get home or into work
  • use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
  • cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
  • put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards
  • try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell

do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean

Please inform us if you come into contact with anyone who has the virus and also if you intend on traveling abroad in the near future.

Be under no illusions, that this situation is forefront in our thoughts and we are in constant contact with the local authorities, the NHS and the government themselves in making sure that we are doing everything correctly.

The care of the individuals who attend The Helping Hands Group and all of our dedicated staff team is paramount.

More information can be found here on the government website.
