An exciting opportunity has arisen to support an outgoing young man with complex needs. The role will include personal care at home (on the Monday morning) and then transporting him to and from the Day Opportunities service at Padholme Road East.

The successful applicant will need the use of their own vehicle, with business insurance.

Experience would be an advantage due to the complexities of the person needing the support. This includes epilepsy, autism (Dravetts syndrome), challenging behaviour and peg feeding.

The position also includes five days working at our Peterborough site as a Learning Support Assistant. You will be a flexible, compassionate individual, able to work as part of a team and/or on your own. This will include communication, personal care and delivery of sessions as agreed with the Manager. Support with teaching independent living skills along with assisting in activities will be a major part of the role. There will be the expectation to complete paperwork and attend training/meetings which maybe outside of your contracted hours.
