Dobbies Donation

A huge thank you to the Kings Lynn branch of Dobbies who have kindly donated £600 worth of items to our new Wisbech centre. The new Day Service which officially opened last month (July) will soon be starting work on their huge sensory garden which sits behind the premises and Office Manager Vikki Harmer has been thrilled with the support shown by the garden centre giant.

“For a huge brand like Dobbies to be so kind it really is fantastic.” Vikki said. “I heard about the garden centre doing a project called ‘Helping Your Community Grow’ so I contacted Victoria  Emden who is the Community Champion/Events Co-ordinator  and she was really really helpful. She came along to our open day back in July and loved the new centre and what the Helping Hands Group stand for and was only too happy to help.”

Group Director Suzanne Gilby said ” We really cannot thank Dobbies enough in-particular Victoria who has been brilliant to deal with. This donation will go a long long way, and will really set us off on the front foot in creating what will be a fantastic sensory garden.”
