The Helping Hands Group is regulated by the CQC and offer Further Education, Personal Development and Day Opportunities for adults in Peterborough with a wide range of learning disabilities including Autism, Sensory Impairment, Brain Injury, PMLD and Aspergers Syndrome. Our service covers every aspect of learning disabilities and angle to assist with all individuals and their families that choose the Peterborough based Helping Hand Group as their way forward.

We offer door to door transport within a 10 mile radius (TRANSPORT IS NOW FULL), Education, Training in independence skills, Activities, Work Experience, Massage, Physiotherapy, Aromatherapy, Arts, Crafts, Cooking, Horticulture, IT and even Hydrotherapy all from our Peterborough based centre.

The service runs 5 days a week, 45 weeks of the year. We aim to create the perfect environment for the users to help maintain and build independence, structure, routine and confidence. We tailor make each programme therefore no two programmes will be the same.

I just wanted to let you know that my son thoroughly enjoyed the February Activity Week, and for the first time ever he was able to tell me what activities he was doing the next day. He was very calm all week and as soon as he woke up he was asking if he was going to HHG. I would like to thank the staff who were working with him during the week for making it a very enjoyable experience and for giving me back my happy boy without his normal anxiousness.
